After a lifetime of success, his health prevented him from ever chasing that dream offshore- but his advice to “go after your own Blue Marlin” became the catalyst for our founding. In that spirit, our firm was created as a tribute to the pursuit of purpose, resilience, and the relationships that make success meaningful. It’s why we chose not to name the firm after ourselves, but after the very people who inspire us every day- our clients.

From Wall Street to Fifth Avenue South, James J. Travers V brings over a decade of experience in tax strategy, corporate planning, and financial advisory to clients across the globe. An Enrolled Agent (EA) with an MBA from Manhattan College, he began his career on the AMEX and NYSE trading floors before his life as an accountant and founding Blue Marlin Accounting in Naples, Florida. Today, James partners with corporations, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals to simplify complexity, optimize opportunity, and provide the kind of counsel that endures.
Beyond his practice, James serves as President ofAlbus Code, empowering students through technology education, and Treasurer of theFuture Podium Foundation, supporting veterans, athletes, and charitable initiatives.
